California
Poppy
The "California Poppy" china was used on the Santa Fe Railway
from 1892 to 1970. This pattern was first reproduced and offered for sale in the
California State Railroad Museum Foundation's gift shop in August of 2001.
The reproduction version was fashioned as closely
as possible to the china
supplied by the
Syracuse China Company to the Santa Fe in 1970.
The china meets all
legal requirements for lead-free decoration and all pieces are backstamped with
a distinctive emblem under the glaze and are marked
as reproductions.
